Hands-Free Holiday Travel
[reblogged from monikadubska.blogspot]
It’s strange, isn’t it? Even though many of us spend half our lives driving backwards and forwards to work, we automatically go on holiday by car. Shouldn’t we be desperate to go away somewhere without having to do any driving for a change? A lot of it all is just habit, I suppose.
But many people are beginning to realise this and are going away on coach holidays instead. This is going to make an enormous difference to your journey. After all, your trip to and from your destination is a part of your holiday; so why spend it with your eyes glued to the road ahead?
Coach tours really are a great way to have a break. They can be booked online and take a huge amount of hassle out of your journey. Instead of getting irate with the sat-nav, you can sit back and relax instead. Modern coaches are really comfortable and even have reclining seats!
Let someone else worry about the best junction to take. You are on holiday and have more important things to think about.
Transport For All Ages

At one time it seemed like it was only elderly people who went away on coach holidays, but not anymore… If that ever was true then it certainly isn’t now. More and more people are discovering what an excellent way it is to get away from it all. You can hop on a coach and go to lots of different places in mainland Europe as well as just in England. And that is a lot easier than travelling there by car or catching several different trains, isn’t it?
So, don’t be fooled into thinking that coach tours are only for pensioners. Yeah, of course they are used by older people who find it difficult to get around, but an awful lot of young people make full use of them as well. They certainly aren’t a ‘fuddy-duddy’ way to travel; and anyone who thinks they are is missing out on some brilliant destinations.
Coaches are clean and comfortable way of getting to see some really interesting places.
A Word For The Car-Less
[reblogged from tumblr]
Not everyone is a car owner and a lot of people must rely on public transport to go away on holiday.
Unfortunately, most of today’s trains are cold, dirty and in a generally poor condition. And this is one of the biggest reasons why so many people choose to travel by coach for their holidays instead. There really is no comparison whatsoever.
When you go away on coach holidays you get all kinds of facilities to make your journey more comfortable. How many trains have you been on that have luxuries such as reclining seats and air conditioning? On a train you are lucky to get the use of a toilet that actually works.
Well, anyone who goes away on coach trips will tell you just how superior they are to train journeys. They are warm, comfortable and clean. It’s a shame we can’t say the same thing about our rail networks, isn’t it?
Coach Holidays Are The Way Forward

I just love to go away on coach trips! It’s all so simple to organise one and I’m sure it must be the most hassle-free way to have a break.
There are plenty of really good companies to choose from and you can book it all quickly and easily online. Even having your seats reserved isn’t a big deal; so if I’m going away with a friend, I know that we’ll be able to sit together. And that’s great. Not like the last time I was on a plane and spent the entire journey sitting with a Read the rest of this entry »
Coach Trips Are Better than Trains
When you travel somewhere by train, there is no way you will get such facilities as reclining seats, air conditioning and clean toilets. But these are all the sort of things that you will come across on the coach holidays of today.
And the other massive bonus is you don’t have to spend the entire journey with your eyes glued to the road ahead. If you are driving your car to your holiday destination then it may even be quite relaxing for the first part of your journey; but Read the rest of this entry »
