Rising Diesel Costs and Coach Travel
It is a sign of the times – the incessantly rising costs of diesel at the pumps all linked to the increase in oil prices and unrest in the East. For coach trip companies these are testing times – but there is some good news. Customers that have already booked a coach trip in advance are guaranteed that the price paid will be honoured (even if it means a loss to the coach tour operator) but the flip side is that it is expected that there will be an increase in the number of coach passengers. There are a couple of reasons for this, fuelling a family car is expensive and therefore some of the great offers that coach trips offer make good financial sense and secondly with the unrest in the East a lot of people are deciding to stay closer to home and booking coach holidays.
